DG Maintenance - A Check

A Check

• Check battery voltage 

• Check specific gravity by hydrometer (should be between 1220 & 1250)

• Check the distilled water level
• Check the battery place (should be clean & dry)
• Apply petroleum jelly in battery terminals to avoid sulphation & rust
• Check the Battery terminals and Starter Motor terminals
• Check fuel level & fuel valve condition 
• Check radiator coolant level (it should be up to the neck of radiator)
• Check radiator belt condition for tension
• Check  engine lubrication oil level 
• Drain water from Primary Fuel Filter
• Check for any fuel, oil leakages
