Diesel Generator – Calculations

Diesel Generator condition is calculated using the kwh per litre calculation. It should be 3.6kwh per litre.

Ex. Units generated in 1hr = 1000kw

Diesel Consumption = 320 litre

Kwh/litre = 1000/320 = 3.1kwh

Cost per Unit Calculation

Cost per Kwh = (Total Litre consumption *LitreCost) / Kwh generated

Ex. Total Litre Consumption = 320, Kwh generated = 1000

Diesel Cost per Litre = 60.20 Rs

Cost per Kwh = (320*60.20) / 1000 = 19.26
